I live maybe 5 miles from the ocean, so I don't expect to keep my tools mint for very long. But these Snappy pliers are only about 6 weeks old! I've tried everything and lately I've been tossing silica packets into my toolboxes to try and keep things dry. Does anybody have any tips on keeping...
My first green Snap On piece. The 9" talon grip pliers. I'm gradually upgrading from Klein and Knipex to Snap On. Man these things feel good. So much more substantial than my Knipex 8" long nose.
Are they a bit squarish, with notches along the handles, long blades, and large ferrules? If so, they're probably made by Irwin. I had a few passed down from my grandfather and I love them.

I've got some old Snap-On black-plastic handle drivers that I love, also. Good luck finding them on...

On Amazon I usually wind up throwing in a Wera hex key or a pack of coping saw blades to get over $25. If you sort by 'lowest price', you sometimes find deals on items where they've only got one left in stock. I've gotten some Channellock screwedrivers and Williams wrenches recently for $3-$4 by...
Long time lurker, first time poster. I wonder if anybody's got any info on this old bad boy. I figure it's one of those things my grandfather dropped in his pocket while teaching electronics in the Navy or civil service back in the 50s-60s. (I also found his 3/8 drive FV71M and it still works...
