Hey everyone, got the 52 Rockwell delta homesite 16” scroll saw working. Seems to run pretty quiet and steady. Not 100% complete yet, but I can use it.
the marathon 1/2hp 1725rpm motor was a good choice. Plenty of power. Now to run to HD to get some blades. Thanks to everyone for the great advice.

That’s one fine saw. I am in the midst of restoring this old Rockwell Delta to working condition. A labor of love. You will get another 100 years out of it! Lol
Mine is a ‘52’ 16” scroll. I restored the internals so that it runs like a charm for instant use. Now it’s waiting for the new motor...
