So I ordered a rebuild kit however the ram seal nut is buggered up. Looks like someone took a chisel to it instead of a spanner wrench. Does anyone sell parts for these other than the repair kits? How tight does the ram seal nut need to be?
As others have said these mowers are a sum of their parts. I would look at which parts are most important to you then go shopping for who uses those parts. I shopped around last year and ended up going with BobCat.
I ran into the same thing, however as mentioned by others there are several sites selling them new. Seems like the going rate for new is somewhere in the $900 range.
I was hoping to find a used or rebuilt one but after searching and calling those appear to be non-existent.
I have the Milwaukee M18 Fuel high torque 1/2" impact. I have taken things apart that a 3' cheater bar wouldn't touch. I haven't used my air impact since getting it.
I agree with the previous two posts, it's not that hard. I've never really bent emt before and just did an entire garage with appx 12 boxes wrapped around the inside. Best tool I found was an app for my phone, I used one called quick-bend, it's awesome.
