    1935 Gas Station Resurrection

Interesting thread, and I will be following along with your progress. I presume you plan to have your gas pumps and signs etc. outside. Do you have any concerns about theft or vandalism? The reason I ask is, obviously vintage gas pumps etc. are highly valuable, as are their parts. I would be...

New 24'x24' Bungalow Woodshop/Autoshop in California

What a beautiful house and garage! I love your attention to detail, and how the garage matches the style of the house. It looks like they belong together, and were always together. Terrific!

    Cabinetry for my garage

Every time I see them smashing stuff, I say to my wife "How stupid. Its far easier to undo a few screws, and carry the complete cabinet out, than smash it to bits." Plus you could repurpose it, or donate. The wanton, needless destruction is one of my pet peeves about those stupid HGTV shows...

    craftsman fully assembled cabinets

I have two of those Craftsman cabinets, except mine don't have the deep doors with storage (which is a good idea). They didn't cost very much, and serve their purpose well. I have noticed the doors sometime stick (the handle mechanism isn't the best), but that's all the problems I've had with...

    Black & Decker Workmate

Interesting thread. I've owned a WM 425 for years, and never given it much thought, I never knew the history behind this ubiquitous tool. Mine was a gift (I think, I cannot recall buying it), and has served many purposes, last of which is a nearly permanent stand for my compound mitre saw...

Expanding a Double and adding a Boat-Port in Calgary

Love the Trans Am (I have a TA Firehawk, and have owned 2 Third Gens and 2 Fourth Gens, so we have a passion for these cars in common). I'd be curious to hear about the TA's engine details. You can shoot me a PM if you want, as its sort of off topic. On topic, I've enjoyed this thread. I...

    Money2536's "The Temporary Garage" Journal

Very nice result, indeed. I love the cabinets. I have a question regarding the twin wash buckets (shown earlier in the thread) with wheels. Where did you get those?

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Bald is Beautiful - 7k sq feet+ of Gruntledness

I've really enjoyed this thread, and particularly like the way your garage turned out. Also, your BMWs are terrific (love the Euro bumpers!). I too am looking forward to updates, I find the "how to fix this" stuff concerning the BMWs quite fascinating.

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Mid-Century Moto Mecca Makeover

I found this site by accident, and have thoroughly enjoyed reading your thread over the last couple of nights. I grew up in a MCM house, and recognize many of the design elements of your home. My father had some architectural training, and designed the house himself. It still stands today...
