It was showing $395 for me also.

I do like the small shelves along with the pegboard on the inside of the doors. I don't recall seeing that before, although I probably just missed it.

I scanned through the whole ad and nowhere does it state what its made from. I assume its metal.

I also noticed in the feedback they seem to have difficulty getting them to you undamaged.

Cheaply made overpriced tin cans IMO. I couldn't believe how much those things are for what you get.

How much cabinetry do you want/need for your garage? By the time you get those and then realize you need wall units, then a workbench, you've dropped 1K-1.5K. If you want everything to match, that will cost you. If you want things to look good and you are flexible, search Craigslist in your area for kitchen cabinets. I scored 9 nice wood cabinets, wall and floor for $400. Search in the Garage Gallery for my pics under "size matters". Dennis

I saw one of those at the Peoria store that was dented above the doors, and it wasn't marked down much. Looked pretty thin for the price.

I have two of those Craftsman cabinets, only they are red. I bought them at a local Sears, brought them home and assembled them myself. The red ones were cheaper, somewhere around $220. No dents or scratches in them. I'm perfectly happy with them, although admittedly I put them in place and haven't moved them.

Hello folks...

Gary T hear from Greenwood Indiana. Been lurking for awhile and getting great ideas on setting up my new house/garage.

I stopped into Sears today and looked at these:http://www.craftsman.com/craftsman-premium-heavy-duty-floor-cabinet-all-shelves/p-00904663000P

But almost $500.00 wow! The cabinet would go a long way in my plan:dunno:

What do you think? Can a better price be found or is there anything else out there similar?

I have this one

although i like it i will probably try to sell it because id rather get some wall cabinets to replace it

I have two of those Craftsman cabinets, except mine don't have the deep doors with storage (which is a good idea). They didn't cost very much, and serve their purpose well. I have noticed the doors sometime stick (the handle mechanism isn't the best), but that's all the problems I've had with them. Unlike some on GJ, I can't justify sinking multiple thousands of $$$ into garage cabinets. Some of my cabinets came from a nearby house being demolished, another from Costco, and the rest from Sears. Sure, not everything matches, but all they are there for is to store stuff, not win points for aesthetics. Its a garage, after all.
