    on my pole barn they put metal on the bottom of the trusses, and im blowing in R-49 insulation. between the poles in the walls they had rolled up 'blankets' of insulation that fit perfectly between each pole, then a vapor barrier, then metal on the inside to finish it off...works great

    3/4" Pex to foam question

    scuba0459- Did you put yours on top or below the rebar? My rebar is already down (1/2" on 1ft centers sitting on 2.5" chairs) and im finding it kind of tricky to get it fished under the rebar...but it is doable i have put 3,000 feet in so far, just need another 500ft or so to finish it up

    in floor heat or hanging heater

    where in southern ia are you from? Alot of the energy companies are giving huge rebates for geothermal heat, which you can use to heat the water for the pex. Plus 30% federal tax credit... sometimes that gets it down low enough that the geothermal is cheaper than a gas/electric system
