We built one years ago using a 70 Chevy Nova front sub-frame. Welded a some metal to the steering box locking it strait at all times. Welded a tongue on the rear of the frame just behind the trans cross member. Cut up the core support to house the radiator and battery with coolant overflow only...

Find a used Johnny on the Spot...Clean thoroughly...cut the back and insides away...Then slide over the safe. :)

If you want to look into the "big" stuff...meaning it accepts standard 3/8 bolts in the track...check out Peachtree Woodworking Supply Inc....that is where I got mine from.
