    Craigslist Dreamers

This guy lives near my local HF. He buys a couple of the 4 drawer carts when they are on super sale, takes them home and assembles them. He then removes the original logos and slaps on some home made inkjet labels. More of a scammer but definitely a dreamer as the same ads have been up for...

    Best 1/4" Magnetic Bit Holder?

I use the Wera version. Quite nice for when I need to destroy an acr bit.

    Craftsman Universal Ratchet- opinions?

I have the complete set of the universal ratchet/spline socket line: all 3 ratchets and the metric/sae socket sets for each size, plus the 3/8 metric/sae deep socket set and 3" extension. They really do feel solid, also a bit heavier than I was expecting. The ground finish is e-coated quite...

I need a good low profile Jack

Harbor Freight appears to have a clone of the Arcan XL2T, but with a different handle and release mechanism: http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/floor-jacks/2-ton-low-profilelong-reach-steel-heavy-duty-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-60678.html

The places I use them in are usually long cramped quarters where I can't snake through a regular wrench and stubby wrenches are too fat to provide any free space dexterity. The 10mm at least should be in everyone's toolbox.

So I picked up a standard and metric set of craftsman ignition wrenches. Says made in USA, but these things make harbor freight tools look like snap-on. They are not drop forged, simply stamped out and then chromed. Look at those lobster claws. They didn't even grind down the edges. Wasted about...

$399 Trinity/Costco 48" Stainless steel toolchest mini review

Since duplex stainless steel, about 25% chromium content. My magnet rails and magnetic parts tray/bowl slaps right on there. My fridge uses the same stuff and magnets stick just as good. Much stronger than usual stainless as well.

$399 Trinity/Costco 48" Stainless steel toolchest mini review

    I know Kobalt has a 53" top/bottom for about $1900, Craftsman has a 52" bottom for $1500, and there is a Husky 40" top/bottom for $700, and a 46" halfsie for $400.

You can pull out the first couple drawers and get to the backside of the logo, I believe it's held in by screws or nuts. Main box and handles: 16ga Bottom channel: 14ga Caster plate: 6ga Drawers: 19ga

    screwdrivers tips

I would suggest whittling down your choices of screwdriver sets you want, and then buying a single screwdriver from each set, all the same size. Some people love hard handles or a specific shape, but I wouldn't go dumping a load on a set of screwdrivers that you may not like in the end. I did...

I spent a little bit of money filling up some of my drawers: -Complete Craftsman universal socket set -Extensions, breaker bar, and composite HF ratchets -Some pliers. The crescent compound action pliers are great -Some Gearwrenches. Hated the wrench racks. -I liked the handles, so I just...

    Updated Chinese Cut50F Group Buy

Aquamoose, I am not in this group buy or anything, but I may have a solution for you based on Square as another member has mentioned. You do not have to take credit card numbers from anyone, since I am sure many people would be uneasy about this. Instead, use Square's invoice tool. You create...

$399 Trinity/Costco 48" Stainless steel toolchest mini review

The box is exceeding my expectations. I have most of the drawers loaded, and the heavier the drawers get, the better they feel. The bottom drawer is a bit of a wash. Doesn't hold any tools, but I have stuck odd things like my stock of oil filters, air filters, and other boxy stuff. I may find a...
