Haven't done a dang thing in the garage in a couple weeks other than grab beers or sweep out the water that runs in from the storms. Work is keeping me busy.
I'm jealous of the progress some of you are making on your projects. Well done all.
I think theres one over in Twinsburg, but I can't speak for their work or anything like that. It just seems to come to mind that one setup shop there in an old truck repair place years ago. Then again, I could completely be mis-remembering that.
I love POR15 as much or more than the next guy, so I fully understand the two of you being splotched and spotted for the next week or so lol. Good job on the trailer!
Just used a little of each again this week. I was surprised how much thinner POR15 is compared to the TopCoat. I didn't remember it being like that. Brushing required a heavier layer of TC than the base. It should have leveled out a little more overnight.
You really need to finish it whether you are keeping it or not. Someone will gladly buy a really nice restored XJ. There are a couple companies already doing exactly that.
Moisture would be no bueno in there. I've never seen desiccant inside one so I wouldn't add it now. Just keep the hat sealed and don't pressure wash it too closely. (Like any other electronic controllers)
