What years were you a dealer and where at? Just currious.

matco tool box drawer glides keep comming off box!!

Someone has removed the screws that hold the slides to the box, probably to make the box lighter so it could be moved easier. It did not come from the factory with no screws. If you can not find the correct screws, you can use a small rivet. If you ever need to change the slides in the future...

    Experience with air tool warranty?

That MT1769 is an awesome impact! They are durable and very strong. The serial number called in to Matco (1800-433-7098) will tell them when it was shipped to the distributor and should give you an idea how old it is. If it shipped to the distributor less than two years ago it should still be...

    Matco Tools or Snap on

I know that Danaher makes a lot of their (Sears) hardline, but that is only part of what we sell on the truck - as you know. Sears targets mostly D.I.Y. customers and entry level techs but most in my area will eventually end up purchasing from me. If you were with Matco, for example you know...

    Matco Tools or Snap on

I don't know about you, but trips to sears/kmart was not in my schedule for purchases and warrenty. The on-site service is an important ingredient for most mechanics, as it was for me.

    Matco Tools or Snap on

Okay, so I have a bias. Go Matco. Get (at least) the same quality and warrenty from Matco at a lower price. Don't let people convince you that if it costs more it must be better. Those days are gone. I became a Matco distributor for these same reasons 19 years ago without regrets! I looked at...

Snap-on/Cornwell/MAC/Matco can keep their Asian junk!!!

Although it is true that the trucks will have Asian tools on board, that is driven by the demand of the customer (even if most customers won't admit it). The constant pressure for lower prices makes it necessary to stock those off-shore products. The USA made tools are also stocked for those...

Which service cart should I get?

The Matco MSC12 is available in black as well as all the other colors and is also a welded unit and is expandable and built at our toolbox plant in Jamestown, New York. Check the heavy duty casters on this thing. It is a workhorse. I have personally seen people put several hundred pounds in...
