Should I lower the windows on garage doors?

My door is about as high as yours with the window at the top. I wanted it that way so nobody could look in.

    beer fridge project

You do not need to remove the oil from the compressor to replace the evap, and you can't just blow it out with R-22. Just remove the existing evap coil and install the new one. Hopefully you are getting the type of line tap you have to braze in rather then the type that pierce the line, the...

    Let's see your Garage Stairs!

Took the railings down after the final inspection, I like the cleaner uncluttered look better. There is a railing on the outside wall. Been thinking about carpeting them.

    Be carefull with racedeck

Moving everything back into the garage after installing the Racedeck, I left the boat (approx. 5000 lbs.) jacked up on the GoJacks. Stayed that way for 5 days, saw what I did and thought the tiles were ruined. Lowered the boat off the GoJacks and there were indentations left from every wheel, 16...

    Shop bathroom solution

That's funny..........I had to have one for 8 days this summer due to a complication during a hernia operation. Man was that little thing handy, when it got about half filled, I just went out along side the garage and opened the little drain valve...........Boy do those things hurt coming out...

    mhadden's 24x30 garage build

The steps in the corner look very similar to mine. My garage is 24' x 32' and the upstairs looks just like yours, we use for storage only, tons of room up there, you will like it.

    HVAC techs/installers/owners

If you switch the thermostat to "fan on" and the fan won't start, reach in the furnace and spin the blower wheel, if it starts the run capacitor is bad. John

    RaceDeck Under Layment

I recently installed Racedeck and put an underlayment down in just the high traffic areas. With nothing in the garage I could definetly hear the difference where there was underlayment and where there wasn't. I don't park daily drivers in this garage so moisture isn't a issue. Got it at HD, 4' x...

    Got a delivery yesterday

I looked at your garage build thread, man that is nice, I could fit my big boat in there. One problem though, after looking thru all the pictures I couldn't determine which girls soccer team you root for, there were no clues:bounce: Thanks for all the kind words guys, wish I would have found...

    Got a delivery yesterday

The front wheel rolls very easy, it takes some effort to get all 16 wheels on the Go-Jacks going in the same direction, but once it starts it moves rather easily, I can do it by myself. The boat and trailer together is almost 5,000 lbs. John

    Got a delivery yesterday

The cheapest laminate wood flooring I could find, turned out o.k. but I might do something a little different after the overhead bulkhead storage project next winter (got the idea from GJ)...........getting to close to boating season now. As far as no Ravens theme on the boat, I try to keep...

    Got a delivery yesterday

Installed my Racedeck yesterday.........Very happy with the results and the easy installation, what a difference it made in my garage. Jennifer at Racedeck is "as advertised". It took an extra week to get the order, the purple tiles was the hold up, must not be a big demand for purple tiles. I...
