Off hand do you know the pitch of the roof and lean to? Was the trusses made for the lean to or was it "added" to the roof trusses for the rest of the garage? Also, the area with the lean to, is that just a slab or do you have a footer underneath. Sorry for all the questions, thinking of...

This has probably been covered before, but didn't notice it in the 5-6 pages I've read thru (just found the site), so I'll give it a shot. For a slab for a second garage, not connected to anything, do you need a footing around the perimeter? I've heard yes and no, also heard different opinons...
