Super tight PVC conduit turn- how to?

Your super-tight turn really can't be that tight. Minimum bending radius for SE cable is 5x diameter. Assuming you're using 4/0-4/0-4/0-2/0 cable, its 1.42 inches in diameter, more or less. That puts the Inner radius of cable at 7.1 inches, outer radius at 8.52 inches.

    Montgomery Ward rolling chest age/value?

Its a nice style and looks like it has locking cover features. Pre 80s boxes have heavier steel and are generally better than what you could buy today in the same size. If you were trying to sell it, you'd be lucky to get 100 for it. Average Joe doesn't want a small toolbox. I think it would...

    Light bulbs for attics

I've put 3-way switches on my attic lights. If you climb the ladder and forgot to turn on the lights, there's a switch in the attic. If you climb down and forget to turn off the lights, there's a switch on the wall. And I add a porc. fixture with a night light bulb on the ceiling wired to...

Why does carflex come in big rolls?

Had a neighbor that wired a spa with that ****. Ran it from the meter box under the eaves and down the wall and probably buried it over to the spa. Lovely.

Questions for Cutting Framing for a new NM-B run (old work)

You could use a ceiling fan retrofit box and skip any blocking. You only need to cut a hole for the size of the box. The bar goes into the hole, expands to lock between the joists. pull wire out hole, secure to box, attach box to bar. If it doesn't feel secure enough because only the...

Tools that actually look nice and have some form of aesthetic

General gripe. A lot of products, not just tools, have too many angles/grooves/textures/etc mainly for styling and possibly some material savings for structure. That makes them much harder to clean up. Need to fire the foo-foo art design majors and go back to basic streamlined design.

    Painting Popcorn Ceiling?

Done it a couple of times with an airless. First coat one direction, second coat at a right angle from the first coat. Get a spray tip extension tube, especially for a taller ceiling. Even for an 8' ceiling so you're not holding your arm at a weird position over your head. Flat white ceiling...
