Nah, there's not much space on the far side of that bay, making servicing anything on that side of a vehicle very difficult. That spot will be for backing in the daily and/or storing a classic.

There's a 3rd bay that's not pictured. It's a 3 car garage to a realtor, but more like 2.5 in reality. The pictured bay will be a single vehicle work area/parking spot. I'm not home to measure right now, but I can guarantee it's less than 8"

16x8. And it's insulated so I'm sure it's heavier than your average door. Moving it towards the side with the benches might work though. The beam is 10'6" high, and I'd want to utilize all that height for the lift as I have a tall vehicle.

Interesting idea. I couldn't really find any chain kits, so it might have to be custom made?
