great video. thanks for the link. i put the old capacitor back in to fire the motor to watch the switch and it's working fine. the capacitor still reads capacitance but it blew a hole in the end where the wires connect where the fluid leaked out. i'm wondering if the capacitor i replaced it...

guys i don't know how i did it but i finally found a coupon # for the harbor freight 2 stage 60 gallon compressor to bring it to 749.99, i bought one saturday from my local harbor freight. i just gave them the number and they punched it in. Coupon # 19199285

i wanted the 2 stage 60 gallon compressor, they raised the sales price to 829.99 from 799.99 though, at that point i might as well just get the belaire 216v

my harbor freight currently still has the old belaire style pump. i'll check out the ir but i heard bad things about them lately

just to update this thread at the beginning of 2014 winter season i inspected my heater and the wires looked fine near the thermostat, a couple weeks or so in to using the heater i noticed it wasn't heating properly and acting weird, i looked at the wires and one was all burnt and ready to fall...

LOVE this heater! i have it in my single 14x28 does a great job keeping it above freezing and when i work i can bring the temp up easy.
