If you're going to be cleaning up threads and not cutting new ones make sure you get taps designed for the purpose.

    Respirator Reccommendation

As soon as I could I grew mine back out. Not scratchy or hot for me and without my beard I look like I'm 12. Hard to take myself seriously without a beard.

    Respirator Reccommendation

Shave. Respirators, no matter how good or what type will not seal if you are not clean shaven. It's even an OSHA requirement in industry. Had to let a guy go because he refused to shave.

Stubby Reversible Ratcheting 12 point Wrenches

The spline style will not slip or strip. I'm also in aviation, never had any problems, frequently have to use my spline stuff on bolts others have mucked up. Plus you are prepared for when you do run across the occasional spline bolt.

    3.2mm wrench?

Electronics maybe? I've had to make a couple wrenches about that size for avionics stuff.

    Opinions on piling air tools

Depends on the tool. My Atlas Copco stuff doesn't require any, the Cleco and IR stuff says it does. Read the manuals, follow recommendations. Or not, either way.

    Bye Bye Craftsman Clear Handles...

Didn't Western Forge drop Sears? Thought I heard that somewhere. Not sure if they'd get paid for product delivered or something.

    Air hammers that last ...

There is an Atlas Copco RRH8 on eBay right now, 110 but it now.

    Steritool Ratchets

Steritool makes great stuff but it's meant for very specialized applications and was rather expensive last time I ordered from them.

Where to get 36mm hydraulic wrench?

Mcmaster-Carr? Same day shipping usually. Part number 5746A8, $28.20

Hand impact driver with torx bit?

Several companies make 1/2 drive, 1/4 inch bit holders. Slap that on your hand impact and Bob's your uncle.

    Safety lever on air tool

I use them. Saw a guy get bit by a grinder when he bumped it with his elbow crawling around behind a bulkhead. Didn't want you repeat that.

Durable and portable toolbox. (Recommendation please)

I've gota Pelican 0450, it's my heavy road trip box. And I do mean heavy. Fully loaded its 90 pounds. Unless I absolutely need it I just grab my tool bag and the exact tools I need for the job. It's a hassle.

    Proto Spline Ratcheting Wrenches

I use mine everyday, sometimes beating the snot out of them and never had one give me any problems. Love me some Proto.

    Vacuum pumps?

Those are mostly for laminate and composite work, they won't pull enough vacuum for A/C work.
