Where abouts in Mass? I am in Western Mass and smashed up 4 of them there nests this past summer. Just used my pressure washer and the pin point spray, shattered the nest into next week.
I have a section of 4 inch PVC pipe on one of the uprights of the loader of my tractor to hold chain in. To manage the lengths I have the hooks painted different colors as to the length. I only have a few sections so it is not hard to remember the length.

That is a early hammer drill, remember seeing them at work years ago. You had different size drills with the same size shank that fit in the handle and you would use a drift in the slot in the handle to get the bit out.
I have built 2 for my son. one a 30 and the other a 55 gallon drum, he does really good with them had some really fantastic BBQ last summer. Am sure you will love it once you get use to it.
