if its a "c" cell based battery pack, most rc shops can rebuild the pack or you can if you dont mind taking the old pack apart and soldering up new connections. I have a old 9.6v Makita that I can't part with, even though I have newer cordless, I still like the old makita and use it occasionally

I just recently noticed these available at Menards.

Ok I'll bite, It's a given that their teardrop ratchets ****, but they rebuild easily and are cheap enough to be disposibe. What do you really expect for 13$ new? Everyone squawks about the finish on their sockets, but I have yet to break one, and if it does its job, how much do I really care...

I've been eyeing that set down at Menards of all places. Just havent been able to bring myself to spend 85$ vs the 26pc C-Man Pro for 170.

Ditto on staying with Craftsman on the sockets if you already have most and only have to fill in. Their ratchets of course are a joke. Plenty of brands of ratchets that will be comfortable and productive for you. SK, Proto, Wright etc. Used is a great option. I picked up some various...
