    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I have the fan, it's perfect for what I bought it for. I'm a pool guy and do repairs on equipment. There's not always an outlet around the pool pump and the fan is a godsend on these hot summer days. A 5ah battery lasts plenty of time and is the same battery I use in my impact and hackzall.

Re: 2018 Home Depot Clearance Thead Sorry if this has been gone over, but how are you finding these clearance items? I don't see them when I look the up on their website. Edit: okay, reading through the last page I'm guessing this is on their store computer? Interesting...

GearWrench Oil Drain Plug Socket Set

That one makes me nervous just thinking about it. All it would take is something to hit the knob and there is no fail safe.

GearWrench Oil Drain Plug Socket Set

While we are on the subject of oil drain plugs, have you guys seen this? looks pretty cool, and it has a backup cap in case it fails, but idk if I would use it. I think I would still be paranoid about it failing and blowing my engine. I'm also thinking the threads would go into the pan a bit...

    2018 Home Depot Clearance Thread

Re: 2018 Home Depot Clearance Thead Pool guy here, most pool poles just have two holes drilled into the end for these type of clips that are standard in most brushes, nets, and vacuums. Also 8 ft extended is pretty short for cleaning a pool. I wouldn't bother with less than a 16 ft. And...

    Tekton Ratchets?

    Memorable screw ups

I did that once at my parent's house. Sprayed almost 5 quarts of oil all over their driveway. Cleanup was a nightmare. That's the last time I'll neglect to check the old filter for a gasket.

    Tekton Ratchets?

It's not an argument, just an observation. Moreover, the clicker is on the bottom of the ratchet head and from that perspective* the fastener goes to the left to tighten a standard threaded fastener. That's how the almighty snap-on ratchets are setup and as we all know they can do no wrong!:o

    Tekton Ratchets?

Unless you are looking at the bottom of the fastener, in which case the left tightens it.:lol_hitti

    Tekton Ratchets?

I have the tekton 1/4 and 3/8 set. The ratchets are high quality, my only gripe is the lever mechanism is the reverse direction from what I'm used too. It clicks to the right to tighten, sorta drives me nuts.

Do you use the plastic case your power tool came in?

I keep them locked up to make it more difficult for a thieve trying to make a quick score. A couple years ago there was a creep wandering around into people's garages in my neighborhood and swiping power tools to take to the pawn shop. I believe it was a neighbor's daughter's junky boyfriend.

Do you use the plastic case your power tool came in?

I toss them. I keep my powertools locked in my bottom tool cabinet drawer, and the cases take up too much space.
