Yes, I really like mine.

Just curious, but what kind of features do you want in a fan?
I think the main feature its lacking is a variable speed knob. It's been said by several people and I concur for many applications even the low speed is too strong and if we could turn it down lower, the runtime would be even better.

Anyone here have the cordless job site fan? If you were to do it again would you?
80 bucks for what looks like a 10 dollar fan is the hold up for me. I could totally use a cordless fan but the overall lack of features has me wondering If Milwaukee will have an updated version coming out.

I like mine. I bought it for my wife. They were moving at work, and the temporary place didn't have A/C yet. And they told the staff, no plug in fans, the electrical couldn't handle it. So she brought in the Milwaukee and a fresh 9.0 every day. (She kept a charger in her desk drawer, no rules against charging batteries! But she never needed to use it.)

I've used it a couple of times since then, it's handy to have around.

I do, I use the hell out of it. I originally picked it up to use at night in the motorhome, but find myself using it almost everywhere else. Hell, I even set it on the floor before going to work if I know it's going to be hot, and 9 out of 10 times the dogs right in front of it when I get home.

Wow that's really sad you post up to put down the fan like that not even owning one at least then maybe the BS would carry some merit.

I have had the fan since it first come out I use all the time on construction jobs, at my home , in my garage, at my outdoor flea market tents to even to cool things down on hot day. 3 speeds, decent battery life, enough high volume, adjustable angle, and the cordless option is priceless IMO.

Like the man said earlier having an integral ac transformer/ standard power cord connector would be quite desirable it sure ain;t a deal breaker.

I would buy 2 or 3 more easy and I don't really see a better option being on the platform

SORRY TO SAY

Don't think it's worth your dime don't buy it

Has anyone seen any promos or deals on the table saw yet? I'm going to pick one up, but waiting for a stand or battery promo to pop up...

Free stand was the best I seen so far

No battery deal yet that I know of ACME has a new catalog coming out maybe something will be in there

Wtf are you talking about? Lighten up on the kegels and pull the ******* from your *********.

If you continued to read I ended up buying one today. And I stand by what I said earlier. It is lacking in features. Even the cheapest of fans have some if not all oscillating, timer, usb outlet, light, a place to put the GD ac power cord.

I’ve heard of fan boys and brand loyalists but you sir take the cake. Sorry I offend your little fan. It’s a fan FFS relax.

I want a career where i can sit on my backside all day making thousands by telling others to get the work done while i watch my back account grow in a heated & air conditioned office.

Nothing from Milwaukee compares to that unfortunately.

I have the fan, it's perfect for what I bought it for. I'm a pool guy and do repairs on equipment. There's not always an outlet around the pool pump and the fan is a godsend on these hot summer days. A 5ah battery lasts plenty of time and is the same battery I use in my impact and hackzall.

If you don't like the Milwaukee fan, look at its green sister, Ryobi. Takes a Ryobi battery of course, but has a built-in plug, so all you need is an extension cord. I find my Ryobi tools complement my Milwaukee stuff nicely. Also, you could buy the M18 to Ryobi battery converter available on Amazon & other places- run a green tool off a red battery for around $20. I believe the fan is about $38 normal price at Home Despot. Its also one of the 'free tools' during Ryboi days when you buy the battery kit.

Well SOB I had no clue a battery conversion was a thing. I mean it makes sense just didn’t think it existed.

Added another new milwaukee tool to the collection, purchased the m12 grease gun.

I like mine I also have the M12

Makes greasing my tractor and loader so easy

Sometimes I think having a longer hose like the M168 version offers would be really good and that lock on coupler is a handy addition too

Surebonder makes the adapters, as their cordless glue gun takes Ryobi batteries. They also make ones for Dewalt & Makita -> Ryobi. The price is closer to $25-30 after shipping, but you can find them listed on eBay and use a coupon, as well as buy more than 1 at a time (they are easy to sell once someone sees it) to minimize shipping per unit.

Been running my Ryobi fan with a 12ah battery for the last few days now in my truck, mostly on low. 3 bars left still I think, 2 for sure.

I had bought an M12 ratchet on ebay today only to have the order cancelled by ebay - darn fraudulant sellers.

What's the consensus on this deal? Is it possible to return the 6ah battery for an $89 credit?

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...ee-6-0Ah-Battery-2598-22-48-11-2460/304755185

Probably a better place to start asking is the Milwaukee deals forum. But to answer shortly, no you won't get $89, nothing is free. Free goods actual cost. Well it would be potentially considered retail fraud if you do go for the $89.

And the bundle you linked to, the price went up. I think the package promo of a free battery for $199 ended this week. Maybe it is still in store, but I know the promo ended towards the end of July.

CPO tool FINALLY posted the new m18 stuff, normally they're one of the first to list for preorder so it's strange

I really want one of those and I don't even need it. The 1/2" mid torque has been going great but that M12 could get into some really tight spots.

Also waiting on the M12 Rocket light to go with my M18 version.

I have enough lights... the M12 lantern is my go to... I also have a non-branded stick light I love.

I have the 1/4" brushed ratchet for tight spots... the 1/2" stubby will be it's brother...

I'm trying to make up my mind on whether I want the 3/8" or 1/2" M12 stubby impact.

I'm planning on getting the 3/8" model. It's a gun for tight spaces, and so I'd like to save the extra 1/4" in length of the 3/8" vs 1/2" sockets.

Speaking of CPO. They are still offering the “build your kit” a free bag and rapid charger with 9ah battery if you buy two m18 tools.

I went with the 2863-20 Fuel 1/2” impact and 7 1/4” circ saw. [emoji106]

I pre bought a stubby M12 3/8...
Hoping to see it in September :)

So we will have the 3/8 mid torque, 3/8 compact, and 3/8 stubby which will be stronger than the compact. So is the plain Jane 3/8 fuel compact due for an update or will it just be phased out?
