Maybe Im a sucker for buying more projects ill never get to, but id be handing over $45 for that any day! Top looks like at least a good user box as is! Badges, locks, tray, lots of good drawer parts at a minimum.
FYI...if anyone is wanting some, recent stop at Harry Epstein got me a NOS bonney badged 11/16 cam lock wrench with original box. They had a lot of em. Also had 3/8 and 7/16. Ill upload a pic when I get home
Fun stop! I went in ill prepared for sure! Basement was the eye opener! Never seen so many overstock 3/4 and 1 inch socket a d drive tools in my life. If I get a chance to stop back, ill definitely have a list of what im missing from specific sets to look for. Abundance of bonney, plomb...
Special oversize quick release impact socket uses those. I have one from Apex and have seen them from snap on. QR314 from apex. Think they have them in different size drives, which would justify having a 3/8 and 1/2 drive bits to insert.

Had to pull an early bird on the garage sale I spotted this on in a Craigslist ad. Couldn't believe nobody else got it before me!! I woulda been happy for just the old case for $3, but... full! Then the terminal puller for another $1. Ok!! E and G dates. 1944 and 1945
Sale find i couldn't leave behind....but no idea what it is! Looks like possibly to do with bearings or Machinist work? One end threads on and tapers outside. Both ends taper where something would sandwich together. Older logo and can make our S-902, then the last digit i cant tell. Any ideas?
Funny story on the L-72 rat....new tech at work was trying to remove a gland nut from very high torque cylinder nut. Using new extra long 3/4 drive HF breaker bar and thing looked like a "C" bowing and bending! I handed over my old L-72 matching yours and said try this. Had to stand on it...
OK, I know nothing about any of these tools or connections... except pointing out that the Helms logo looks very comparable to the early MAC logo. Looking at Lugz last pic in the first post. Probably has nothing to do with anything lawsuit related, but just kinda funny.
As a forklift tech that sometimes has to tote what tools I think ill need for a job who knows how far across some warehouse or multilevel building...I love having tools like that! We've started calling em pocket toolboxes. Might not be ideal tools for a complete job, but when youre first going...
