Near KC for work class this week and just put 2 n 2 together that Epsteins is about 4 blocks off of my route home on I35 thursday!! Always heard you guys talking about it but dont get this way very often, much less without spousal supervision! Any tips from the pros on parking and general introduction so I dont go into overwhelming shock!?

Introduce yourself and make sure you don't leave without going both upstairs and downstairs! The main level has the new "eye candy" stuff but to me going to the other levels is more interesting as you never know what you'll find

Hey, I might get a stop in there this week too!
Thanks for the post because I never would have put two and two together.

Worth the stop. I came out with a few items I hadn’t got around to buying previously. My wife’s cousin lives in Independence Missouri and I dropped off the girls to do some shopping. They went to LL Bean and I went on to Kansas. 😂 As @loganb said take in all levels. 👍

Fun stop! I went in ill prepared for sure! Basement was the eye opener! Never seen so many overstock 3/4 and 1 inch socket a d drive tools in my life. If I get a chance to stop back, ill definitely have a list of what im missing from specific sets to look for. Abundance of bonney, plomb, wright, and sk. Both current and vintage. Found a few oddities i couldn't live without. Bonney cam lock 11/16 NOS in box, couple NOS usa craftsman ball end hex screwdrivers. Was barely able to resist throwing this on the ol credit card, but impressive to see in person! Nice people to talk with too.

Extra bonus points if you stop in the one Saturday a month they're open and enjoy breakfast with them. They make some great pancakes...it's like shopping fuel

The antique machinery/steam club I've gotten involved with is less than an hour south of KC, but it didn't dawn on me that I've been that close to Epstein's until a few weeks ago. They're only a few minutes around the corner from the Arabia riverboat museum so now I've got a two-fer reason to head a hair farther north in the next few months. Bigger toys require bigger wrenches...
