Goodbye to the pod! Finally getting the yard cleaned up and cleared out so I can finish it and get it back in shape. Put down a good bit of preemergent in the grassy areas and seeded the tracks where I had ran the trees into my back yard.
First real project inside the garage now that its built. Getting our boat ready for the summer! Today involved setting up and summerizing the boat.
This Moomba uses an Indmar Raptor 6.2L Ford engine. The engine has these blue plugs which are quick drains for the heat exchanger, the v drive, and the impeller housing. I also had to reconnect the sea strainer and this hose which ties the exhaust manifolds together.
We just upgraded to this boat from our 2016 Moomba in January, so I have been ordering parts to get this boat setup for the summer. I also installed a taller pedestal for my wife since she likes to look over the windshield.

Making sure my wofe is comfortable and confident driving the boat is essential otherwise I dont get to play. This is one of her essential mods. I also installed new ballast bags, which are filled with with water to make a bigger surf wave. The stock bags are about 750 or 800 lbs each and the new ones are 1200 each. They extend way up under the seats. This will make storage tight but my wife is a master organizer so I expect her to have a solution to this.
