137. I went there with the intention of paying $137 which is what it was online, so no harm no foul. I will be trying for the penny though!
In the past if I discovered any Unicorn penny items they’re taken to self checkout in order for me to leave swiftly. Now that the associate/manager is aware of the situation the odds of getting it for a penny is up to the managers discretion. Those penny items are a part of the inventory system set up for RTV return to vender or to the dumpster.

. Asked to get it down and when they pulled it down she scanned it for some reason and it came back at a penny. They would not sell it to me as much as I pleaded my case.

I took a pic of her scanner and am going to take it up with HD for a possible refund!
Sometimes they will take it from you or allow you to purchase the item. Always depends on the employee.

Always take it to the self checkout. You can always tell them you don’t want it if the price is not in your budget.

Let us know how HD answers your question

HD prices items at a penny when they are RTV, clearanced out of the system, or otherwise not allowed to be sold. Complaining to customer service will accomplish nothing other than probably getting the store in trouble for selling it to you at all.

Yep. The problem was it was in overhead and I had to ask them to get it down. I never asked for a price check She just scanned it for some reason. Lesson learned though.

I decided against calling customer service. I am going to talk to the store manager. He was not in yesterday.

I'm not finding any available anywhere within a few states (on the HD site). I can order one at full price.

Where did you learn about this? Did you go there expecting them to have one, or did it just jump out at you?

No idea, I asked a friend who worked there to check and maybe grab one for me, but he said there were none anywhere in the area. When I looked online after I left work, it showed 8 available. Go in the store and they were just sitting in the cages in front of the self checkout for less than what slickdeals posted.

These are the 3.0Ah battery's at a decent deal:

That's not that great. 5s have been 2/119 online, and even dropping to 2/$89 in-store on the last clearance price.
Now $98 with free home delivery, 1/4" $115
Or wait for the new next gen to go on sale, currently $230 but really good reviews.
Wow, first time I've seen a piece drop in the middle of a special buy, only have gone up. They must have had so many of these in the warehouse

Is it me, or HD Web site is malfunctioning for the last couple of weeks? It shows their "O-ops" error when you click on a link and even when you search within their site.

full price around here
I thought the same thing at first, but then saw the clearance price link. It doesn't load right away, you have to wait for it.

And when you click on it, the price doesn't change, but a bland pop-up window opens quietly at the bottom of the page.

When I've hunted for other items set up like this, & my local store didn't have any more, it wouldn't show up the same. They'd only show the "ship to store" options at full price. I had to change stores to see if any others had the deal.

+1...If those are in stock it will have that clearance icon, plus unable to order for pickup.

And, if they are sold out, it will show full price, and let you "order them for pickup" (since they are coming from offsite). They let you do that only you are not getting the clearance price AFAIK.

Does anyone own the Ryobi Speed Bench who can speak on it? A lot of the reviews are not so great from assembly issues other problems. Is it worth buying even for $110?

good question, since the price is nice.

IIRC the consensus has been to be the bosch "gravity rise" tool stands are the best of this type, but typically $300+ or whatever (at least for for the mitre saw stands, etc.)

A friend of mine who lives in a town house has one and he likes it, he uses it for his miter saw and a portable work table.……. For $110 I think it is a decent deal and if I needed a portable work table I would grab one at this price. I did not hear any complaints from him about assembly.

BTW! Remember that "you get what you pay for" so don’t expect a heavy duty bench.

So I went and picked up the ryobi speed bench and just put it together. It’s definitely going to be better than using the garbage can lid when Im doing something in the back yard. It seems sturdy enough for home use. If I depended only tools to make money then I’d find something more robust. But for my needs I think for $110 it was a good buy.

I also noticed they had all of their Ryobi Lynk boxes on clearance also, 50% off

$131 is the clearance price near me, so prices do vary.
I've been thinking this could be a great systainer/packout dolly with a base plate adapter.
I'm surprised they don't offer a baseplate with it for the Ryobi Link boxes.
