I found some Coast flashlights, some discounts better than others.

20260301_174621.jpg20260301_174624.jpg

I wasted a bunch of time staring through the cage, looking stuff up on my phone, and at least one employee came by to check on me.

One thing I found irritating, most of the ones that are dual-powered (take alkaline or rechargeable batteries) DON'T COME WITH THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY!!! For the (original) prices of these, that's insane to me. Especially since they're charging a LOT of money for the rechargeables, and don't have those in-store. (OK, maybe that's 2 or 3 things that irritated me, LOL...

I DO think the dual-power option is nice (if you forget to recharge, throw alkalines in and keep going).

I didn't buy any, because I figured if it takes me that long to decide, I should spend more time looking them up online at home first.

If they'd have had any of those 60-cent headlamps, I'd have been all over that!

I have been considering the XP11R and it shows as including the battery, per the web description

  • Rechargeable Dual Power: Use the included ZITHION-X battery or AAA alkaline batteries

Missed the Milwaukee daily deal posted above, but was able to snag the same item for $149.00

Then after a little bit of "while I'm here making this order" browsing around the other Milwaukee stuff I came across this deal for the new M12 stubby impact driver with two 5.0Ah batteries for $299. Some quick girl math says that's 5 batteries for $200! :ROFLMAO:

I don't have enough personal experience to have a strong opinion, so happy to be corrected. I also don't use any of this stuff in a professional setting, but I've been happy with all the GW and Icon products I've purchased. I bought this Quinn bit set this weekend, but it's my first Quinn item and I haven't had a chance to use it yet: https://www.harborfreight.com/promo...ets/master-bit-socket-set-87-piece-70347.html

I have heard that Quinn is made for HF by Apex, who makes GW (not sure if that's a rumor or something that's been officially confirmed).
Of course, even if true that doesn't mean they build them to the same specs/quality.

If I were buying today GW and Quinn were the same price, I'd pick GW. But a $30 Quinn set vs $50 GW, I'd go Quinn.

I found this video comparing GW vs Quinn 90T ratchets:
And here's a video comparing Quinn to Icon:

My gut is that HF's intent is for Quinn to compete with GW and Icon to compete with the tool trucks.
Hi @dcg1
Was going to grab this bit set (Quinn 87pc) today at the parking lot sale ($65) ... is it worth grabbing?

Thanks, Brad

In my opinion, yes. I wanted it for the longer bits which I rarely need, but have a better chance of twisting/breaking. No issues so far, but if I ever break one, easy to get replaced at a local HF. I like that the metric/SAE are color coded, and the case is a pretty good design without much wasted space that easily comes apart for use as a tray in a tool box.

I just wish they had a bigger set with the ball end bits, but thinking of grabbing the Icon versions today at the sale.

I jumped on that deal. I should had bought two of them. That was a smoking deal for the 12 ah battery. I picked up the M18 weed wacker last year so I'm trying to score more of the Forge batteries to use with it.
This deal is active again, but about $10 higher. $178, with the M12/M18 rapid charger.

The big Bosch 12 Mitre saw for $549...that is the cheapest I've seen it recently, for you guys looking for a big Slider.

They must have been blowing out pre-tariff inventory because I just picked up that combo with the gravity stand for $725. And then it arrived all smashed to hell so they took another $240 off. Magically they have inventory again a few days later at $1048.

I got 4 of the smaller G56R ones for $10 each. Bright. You have to take the battery out to charge it, don't love that but price was right
I picked up the last 2 of these G56R in Londonderry, NH today. I too don’t like that you must remove the battery in order to charge it, but not a dealbreaker. Terrific deal in my opinion… great quality flashlight that came with the rechargeable battery or can use alkaline batteries for $10.00 each. 👍

Found my first unicorn today. It was in the overhead hiding. When I scanned the tag on the shelf it rang up at full price. Asked to get it down and when they pulled it down she scanned it for some reason and it came back at a penny. They would not sell it to me as much as I pleaded my case. My wife was with me so She wasn’t into my complaining either. They agreed to sell it at the last clearance price.

I took a pic of her scanner and am going to take it up with HD for a possible refund!

137. I went there with the intention of paying $137 which is what it was online, so no harm no foul. I will be trying for the penny though!

What's the model number? I searched by description, it's not coming up for me online.
