Beyond the scope of the question. No trolling please.
Car and trailer guys. Not just trailer.

Agreed
At times I need to move a vehicle or small utility trailer empty and full about the grassy yard.
If this is a regular parking/storage area, have you considered putting stone down instead? It will be better for the cars, tooThe vehicle won't be moved far. Maybe 50'. Just to cut grass or move items in the area Then put it back.
Home back yard. Wife would not be amused if I removed the grass. If this is a regular parking/storage area, have you considered putting stone down instead? It will be better for the cars, too
But she's OK with immobile cars?Home back yard. Wife would not be amused if I removed the grass.
These things are $5 to $50k. Hardly $2k. I doubt if I'd want one that was.Skid steer works pretty well, too.
Eventually you don’t have to worry about the grass, either. It’ll
get all torn up then you can spread stone with the skid steer.
Thus my post. But she's OK with immobile cars?
Are we talking about a car ON a trailer, or just pulling a car OR trailer around? The statements above point toward the former, while the statement in the OP (below) point toward the latter.
I'm confused. You move them for mowing but can't change what is under them? And your wife isn't OK with them but you put them back? Thus my post.
That is likely to just spin tires when trying to pull a car that isn't on a trailer.rough lawn surface will make towing back and forth harder than on concrete. Something with a single small wheel will sink into the dirt. Will need something larger like this. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Goodyear-E...cz6dK3F8LuxuMkTRm5lRMkXi9_I9Wt_4aAiwKEALw_wcB
A $5k skid steer would certainly keep you busy, assuming parts are still available. These things are $5 to $50k. Hardly $2k. I doubt if I'd want one that was.
Right?I know... It's just funny how a question can get ignored for so long
His wife will like the look of a stone parking area a lot more after getting one of those!Find yourself an old Ford 2N, 8N or 9N tractor. They are usually around $1000 and will haul just about anything.
A small battery operated tug will probably be your best solution, doesn't look like you have a lot of extra room.

CorrectSo...no cars ON trailers, right?
And the car?BTW, I move my 5x8 trailer around my 1 acre lot using my 1976 John Deere 210 Garden Tractor that you can find all day for less than $500.
Um. Yeah. Not happening.build a garage and drive way to it. Might cost less or move to a place with a large barn.
I've seen these as I mentioned. I've only seen them on paved lots. For the trailer it would be great but towing a car? Hmmm, don't know about that as they need the/a weighted tongue.
