Trail, road--what's it matter?
Long as it’s not your neighbors tool box, I think it’s fair game for this category.Trail, road--what's it matter?
not if you go on ebayA tool collection missing just one piece is the hardest set to complete. But keep up the search!

That was worth every penny you paid! While out for our walk, the dogs and I happened upon this little Skil table saw sitting out on the sidewalk with a sign on it that said
FREE WORKS
We came back with the truck and loaded it up
If you look close at the second pic, notice that the motor assembly is a modified little circular saw
Hey....Made in USA!
We cleaned it up and gave it away to a friend
He was very happy
I would imagine that thing has to be pushing, if not over 40 years old. Great score. While out for our walk, the dogs and I happened upon this little Skil table saw sitting out on the sidewalk with a sign on it that said

If that isn't a "You ****! then I don't know what is!Well, this has got to be my luck for the year... Driving home on a quiet suburban road and spot something shiny up against the curb.
Naturally, I cased the rest of the block to see if anything else had gotten bounced loose, but no. A little surface rust, so I think it'd been there a few days. A thorough de- and re-greasing (the oil inside smelled TERRIBLE) and it's working beautifully.
Now I just need to track down a fresh grip. Before I head to Ebay, anyone here have spare hard handles?
Have one just like that. It was a road find as well. Cheers!Well, this has got to be my luck for the year... Driving home on a quiet suburban road and spot something shiny up against the curb.

Picture of said Unicorn or it didn't happen. No lie. I found a 10 mm 1/4" snap on socket once.
I did too. Later on I found 2” Snap On ratchet so the socket does feel cheap. No lie. I found a 10 mm 1/4" snap on socket once.
Now for the real question - how many 10mm sockets have you lost? lolNo lie. I found a 10 mm 1/4" snap on socket once.
at least one, maybe 2. I have a tendency to lose 3/8" socketsNow for the real question - how many 10mm sockets have you lost? lol
I dont need another adjustable wrench, but I couldn’t leave a tool in the road.Found an adjustable on the concrete at the bulk waste drop last week as I was kicking nails to the side.
I left the wrench
What a happy weekend. I found my lost icon & 10mm! It fell into a rarely used drawer at the bottom of one of my toolboxes. Cleaning up from multiple projects this weekend lead to its happy return to the 1/4" drawer.doesn't make up for losing a nice 1/4 icon ratchet with a 10mm craftsman on it i lost working on our pilot. the universe gives & takes

No, it's something stuck to itIs that chrome failing already?
