Lot's of Ryobi for those interested. A lot of blemished hand tools also.

Just FYI, I’ve ordered 3+ tools from them and never received a tool that was “blemished”. I think they use that as a crutch to allow TTI to look the other way on the low pricing they offer.

I have ordered way more than I should from them, and agree, the Blemished items are hard to tell if anything is wrong. Refurbished ones are heat embossed with "REFURB" on the tool or accessory. Depending on item, cross check with Home Depot, especially when they are doing their Ryobi days events. Sometimes HD for new stuff is cheaper than refurbished on DTO.

HD is the only authorized seller of new Ryobi, so having that description takes care of that & prevents price matching.

Thanks for posting the link. I bookmarked it for future reference.

The number of options for battery-powered tools is staggering, and that's not even including the combo deals. HD is much worse.

The free shipping discount code is apparently sent via SMS. Sigh...

Oh this is cool. I have no desire to buy Ridgid or Ryobi battery tools, but now I wonder how the 13" Ridgid planer compares to a Dewalt.

It doesn’t compare to the Dewalt 735. Had a refurb Ridgid planer for years but the rollers kept not pulling boards through. Upgraded to the Dewalt and I’m much happier. If you don’t do a lot of wide boards or just a hobbiest it will work fine, just not as good as the Dewalt.

edited to add: It is hard to say it's a bad planer for the price. I paid $225 6 years ago and I see the refurbished is only $228. I would get the blemished one for $258 depending on the warranty difference.

I've gotten most of my ridgid from them, you can still do the LSA on blemished stuff but not refurb. They have stores too, the one on the grounds of the TTi headquarters used to have Milwaukee stuff too (been a minute since I've been out to it so I don't know if it's still the case)
