Thank you. I can't wait to have it all mostly done... I still need to empty and take down that rack in front of the lift. So much **** from the recent move to this new house and workshop. Soon... soon...

Finished installing grip tape

Definitely a first world problem.
Yeah, I know. I need to remind myself that I need to simplify and get rid of things, not stuff more **** in the garage/workshop... I should stick with what I have and move on. Well, as far as the lift goes. I still need to continue to get rid of a lot of the stuff here...

I never had a MaxJax or similar, hell I’m new to the 4 post as well. Put a 4 post out at the lake primarily due to storage requirements last summer. Watching your post as hopefully will be getting the interior done at the lake. Decided to go 3/4 plywood on the walls to the 8’ level. Then finish off the upper portion and the ceiling with white metal.
Funny how a local online auction can help you make some of these decisions for you. Price was good so couldn’t resist going this route. Now only is I could find a wack of insulation this way I’d be set. I sure as hell would like to have some heat in there this winter. 🥶
Not as much of a problem with your location. 😉

Thank you for sharing replacing the seals. I have the same MaxJax. It’s been sitting for several years so who knows. With the new shop I have thick footers for a two post but leaning towards a 4 post with casters. I’ll set up the MaxJax on an outside pad or sell it.

Yeah, most likely, just due to time, the seals in yours are like mine were... Replace them.

And I am where you are... I still have not not bolted it down because I can't decide if to keep it/sell it and get a four post... I really want a four post now that I have the height to accommodate one...
