No, she didn't but I sent an email to customer service you see if there's any online resolve...drive to that store isn't worth the discrepancy. And let me guess, did they too try to say you needed to renew your ITC? They did that with me once, literally a week after I renewed online as I'd let it lapse as for the longest time, I didn't go to HFT (especially when I have a Proto dealer not 10 minutes from my house, and HFT is almost a half-hour--and I was expanding with the old SK stuff that same mine and industrial supply was practically paying me to take). There's one cashier that constantly tries to upsell too. Meanwhile, with the mine supply--it basically equates to--call the guy in the office, hand him the cash, and go home. Or if I am stuck with the card (I think they don't take card payments under $50), go in the tool area with the manager, grab whatever old stuff that I like that hasn't probably sold since I was in diapers--and then go home.
^ Not sure where I got that one. I didn't pay more than $20 bucks for it.Not sure if I missed something in this mini ratchet thread on the Utoku that four.cycle mentioned -- I didn't see a link. Thought I'd mention they are available for $20 - $24 from ABD tools: https://abdtoolsandsupply.com/collections/ratchets/bit-ratchet. I haven't purchased from ABD but am looking at a couple of things.
Hoping it will be something I can post to a semi-family-friendly forum.I'll look forward to hearing your opinion of that after you've used it, Timm.
TIA.

I bought the HF version during one of the 30% off $10 deals. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed
I paid $6 for it. Hoping I'm not as disappointed.I bought the HF version during one of the 30% off $10 deals. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed
Good kid!I have a dyna-file but rarely use it because it’s loud and heavy.
While visiting my son’s shop I got a chance to use his M12 band file and was really impressed with it.
He sent me one for Father’s Day.

I live in Michigan and this would be a very very modest list at 200k miles. Temp extremes, rust belt, and very rough roads combine to make life hell on cars. My lists are easily 5x for cars like a Honda Civic hatchback, a Subaru Forester, and a Toyota Tacoma small pickup. I guess it keeps me "entertained" but unscheduled repair work and can heavy at times. I do a fair amount of preventative maintenance past 120k ish miles to try and boost reliability. But a lot of necessary repairs too.
I had an 80-series and a 100-series that were bulletproof to over 200k miles. Expected the same from my 200-series but at fewer miles I've had many failures:
Valley Plate coolant leak
Radiator
Starter
Water Pump
HVAC Blower motor
Radio Headunit - TWICE
Mark Levinson amplifier
Power steering pressure hose
AHC shocks
Transfer case actuator
AHC globes
Rear axle seals
Problems that I haven't had but are known issues on the 5.7L engine: timing chain tensioner, cam tower leaks, timing cover leaks, secondary air injection issues. A number of folks have reported head gasket failures.
Still a decent truck but, in my opinion, really bad compared to what Toyota used to build. My truck is getting old and typically I'd look for a 300-series, but they're under an unsolved recall for engines blowing up!

Just yesterday I was looking at felo bits. I’ve been on a binge trying to find a decent set. Thru the years I’ve had a few of their screwdrivers and really like them. So I take it their bits are good too ( unlike wera )
Those rails sure look like Ernst stuff. Just sayingTekton 3/8” semi deep 6-24mm
Was interested in the rail too to see if this is the organization I’m going to commit to for all my sockets.
Organizer Pros:
cheap
Clips lock in place on the rail (vs the aluminum rails where the clips slide back and forth)
Twist lock isn’t so bad
Cons:
Plastic
Non magnetic
Not sure if it can cut them down to size cleanly.
The sockets are nice though.

I have some standard felo bits and I bought their impact set.. I bought the impact set specifically because it is an impact set and I wanted a small grab and go impact set.Just yesterday I was looking at felo bits. Anything can be cut down. Oh, cleanly? That's another matter. Not sure if it can cut them down to size cleanly.

These are nice. A bit more than I'd like to pay, but.. c'est la vie.First up, Workpro 4.75 inch long mini long nose, two position slip joint pliers from Amazon. For $18, I'm quite happy with them. Nice finish, semi flush joint rivet, deep serrations. Just what my desk tool kit needed.
Icon g2 14” ratchet to replace FX80A.
It took 2 weeks to arrive in the UK from the US. Overall quality is subjectively about 80% of Snap on, but considering the price it’s a no brainer. Even at £75($100) I consider it a good buy with no alternatives on the UK market.
Biggest difference(to my F80, except length) is anvil/pawl engagement and I feel that Snap on has tighter tolerances in machining those moving parts. I will upgrade this ratchet with Snap on’s repair kit and possibly soft grip handle. Icon’s handle is a good quality and quite comfortable however.
