Decided to order a 12 x16 barn style DIY storage building from the discount lumber place. $2500 delivered. Started last weekend and doing a bit more this weekend. I’m pacing myself as my arthritis is limiting me a bit but it’s coming right along. I’m at the point where i need to instal the T111 sheets today and I forget what I did when I built my shop by myself to hold the sheets. I will think of something but if y’all have any suggestions I welcome them.

You could screw a 2x4 "ledge" on the bottom so that you can rest the sheets on it and then screw / nail them on. Move it as needed. Maybe snap a chalk line all the way around to get it at the right height.
I have watched several YouTube videos and this is how they did it.

Please keep us updated on your build. I enjoyed your garage build you did several years ago.

Looks nice. You may want to buy a couple of 16's and redo the top 2x4 on ends so they overlap the corner joints it will lock the walls together. I'd also consider painting the inside of T1-11 before you assemble it it. Nice work so far good luck with it.

I am going to strap them together with metal strapping. I thought about the overlapping and I am just going to go with the strapping

Slight progress , critter mesh added. Used my small low profile jack as a 3rd hand to hold the sheets up. The sheets are still wet from the stack . I guess from the treating process? Holy **** does it make them heavy. lol or I’m just weaker .

Like a mouse eating an elephant, one bite at a time will get it done.
As an unofficial building inspector of Wayne and previous resident of Greene I may have to go by one day to check things out.😇 With the critter screen, now you have gone and hurt the feelings of the local stray cats and possums!🙀

I built my 12x16 yard shed over a gravel "pad" on which I set concrete footers, so the deck joists are at least 2" above the gravel. After I had it up and sided (T11) I placed solid 8x16x4block on edge around the deck, glued to deck frame and to each other, backfilled with gravel to keep most of the critters out from under the shed.

That's a pretty good deal on the shed kit. I'm sure I spent more buying supplies separately on a very similar build. Wrestling those sheets is no fun by yourself.
