Is this a factory craftsman wrench?

Found several craftsman wrenches like this and picked them up. I've never seen one with the open ends that look like this. Is this something they put out? What's the purpose of it if they are.

Did they call them that during the =V= era? I know they stopped for a while, then came back out with them (black/gold packaging) and they were labelled as "Quick Wrenches", but not sure if the originals carried that name.

The ones quick wrenches I have are like a standard wrench with a semi-circle cut into the upper jaw, this one confused because the top jaw is shorter and the semi-circle is where it ends

you are supposed to break it loose with the box end and then flip it around and use the ‘ratcheting’ end to ge able to get the fastener out faster/easier

They work very well for Harley Davidson clutch cable adjustment.

I use open end wrenches to break the jam nut loose, do the adjustment with my fingers. Then about 1/2 turn to tighten the jam nut.

Didn't know they offered them back in the day.I'll have to start looking for the older versions....I personally like the newer versions and they are found NOS anywhere for a couple bucks each..Flea markets,swap meets,etc.....I pieced together a few sets for around $12.00 a set.

I got a set of the later 1980s version as a gift years ago -- circa 1988-90, if my memory isn't wrong. I might have tried to use them once or twice, didn't like 'em, and eventually sold the set on eBay.
