Sometimes a bank card is the best tool for the job! It will be fun to watch your garage going up, and you won't need to wait 5 years before it's finished, like my garage addition.

I call that the FWIF (**** with it factor). The older you get, the more the FWIF comes into play, and the more you're willing to pay for stuff to be done.
"Well, this job has about a 3:1 FWIF. I'll just pay someone to do it."
We took a "Hard Hat" tour of it many years ago. Went into the bowels of the dam, walked out a tunnel to a grate right on the face, etc. It is truly a sight to see. It's all done in art-deco style, the machine room is so clean you could probably eat off the floor - it's just beautiful. Well worth it.

Well it's done. Almost lost my mind but I made it. The building crew fought the entire time and I had to stay in the house. Juan (Carlos) was outstanding but the other guy would not leave me alone. Holy "get back to work dude". LMAO Anyhow very pleased and we'll see if it leaks. LOL
Started moving in stuff last night. Heat is rough so I'll have to take it easy for a bit but I'm excited to get back to work in a garage. It's been a decade.
This is a local outfit out of Arkansas called A & T Buildings. Very good quality materials, not a scratch, not one screw in the wrong place. (has not rained yet) LOL

No Sir, but I know I'm going to separate the "wood" section from the "metal fabrication" for sure. LOL
I'm a career draftsman and the only thing I draw these days is a retirement check from the mail box. LMAO
Thank you and I grew up in DC, worked at Graphics shop in Hyattsville doing art for the government and the Smithsonian. Love DC.

Good day. Started the moving in process and it's tiring. LOL All of this **** was mostly on my porch and I moved it by myself. Holy dickdragger. LMAO Work benches and such are all temporary for now. Got to use what I have to make what I need. First rain revealed some leakage at the base plate. They put down silicone but not enough in some areas. I'm going to seal the outside and inside base today. Actually was not too bad. It rained hard, very hard.

So I built a light box for over the work bench. What a royal pain in the *** that was. Anyhow, looks like hell but works for now.
Got the truck ready for a trip North to see the 4014 Steam Locomotive up in Hermann, Missouri. Bought a cargo carrier for the EBike so I could get into and out of the area without driving the truck and it was amazing
Sharpened the lawn mower blades and built a bench for the radio and fan.

Here's some shots from my trip up North. Train was huge and amazing but the heat almost killed me. Real feel was 105 I think. Stayed at my buddy's house high on the hill overlooking the Missouri River Valley. What a view. Also took some shots of his work truck. Nice hot rod.

How is water incursion stopped at the perimeter slab protrusion? Looks like 1-2” of the slab is exposed external to the walls.

The trip up north was a great event besides the heat. My father would have enjoyed looking at the steam locomotive and railcars.

Thank you for that. Workbench is evolving even as we speak. Every day I get more **** to put on it. LOL Trip to the Train was very cool mostly because of the $800 scooter I got to do the event. I was able to scoot in and scoot out and avoided the hundreds of cars around the small town. It was amazing. Otherwise, I almost died from the heat, never saw the train up close and only through the view finder. All in all, it was good. Got to see a long time good friend and that was probably better than the train.

Okay, updates as promised. Where do I start? Organizing is key. Running out of room and considering a shed for the lawn mower and garden tools. (I don't have a garden) LOL

Hyperlites came in. Holy Sun Level. 28,000 lumen's per light.
Bent some hangers from 3/16" round rod and welded a $2.50 hook on the end temporally and hard wire later this winter.
