This is my buddy, he's been with us for 11 years. He comes from the greek island Crete, where he was abandoned as a tiny pup. I don't understand how anyone could do such a thing. I hope he's forgotten it by now.
We've had much fun through the years, one knee surgery, two displaced discs, of which one needed surgery that cost us all our savings at the time, one brain-seizure-kinda-thing which the special dog neurologist I had to go to couldn't figure out. Anyway, he's fine, but getting a bit slow of age and is very sleepy all day.

Slowly but surely, Olly has become ball crazy.

Faych would chase a ball occasionally, but he was always scent and food motivated, a ball was a distraction. My first cocker Hafey was 1000% ball crazy though, it didn't matter where the ball went, he was going after it.

Circa mid 1980's retrieving his ball from the river -

Circa late 1980's and a toddler DFB, notice his eyes locked on the prize.
