I use a fair number of eye bolts and eye lags, 1/4” thru 1/2”. Looking for a socket for the larger sizes. Tired of having to turn them with a screwdriver or a vice grip.

I have several wing nut drivers and sockets but they aren’t very useful over 1/4”.

Get another "J" hook, either lag or machine thread, and cut off the thread portion. Then mount it in your drill / driver, select low range, hook the "J" into what you want to drive in, and give it just a little power until you get a feel for it.

Cutting off the threads avoids getting your drill chuck torn up or having too much runout.

I grind three flats on the threaded portion to fit the jaws of the chuck. Also works great for rebar tie wire.

Snap-On SPS10A will fit the 1/2" ones with a bit of slop. For 1/4", a Wing Nut socket will fit, like the Koken ones
