This scan tool will do nothing for your model year vehicle, unless it’s a wild retro build with completely new motor, electrical harnesses, and an ECU / PCM, which I am guessing it is not.

Please read about On Board Diagnostics and when such systems were federally mandated (beginning in 1996, though some vehicles came with it earlier).
