Some bigger things FINALLY happening this weekend. The kids are painting the upstairs. Not my choice of color but it's not my house. Master bedroom almost painted. Also my wife and I started hanging up all the car siding that she stained and poly'd. Its a bit more difficult than I imagined but we're gittin' 'er done!

Looks great. Do you give those boards a slight bevel?
Nope. These are straight off the shelf of big orange, theh cheaper 'cabin' grade. Wife sanded the face before stain, then fine steel wool before the second coat of poly. Some are a bit wider, some are narrower, I'm shooting the laser level every few rows to keep a level appearance. Most t&g are tapped together tight but we've spread the gap a bit over a couple rows here and there to blend in the different widths...............pain in the ****.
