My XYL is who suggested I bring them in the house. She like old stuff as much as I do, I taught her well. The house is full of antiques, tools furniture, and lots of radios  Go look at my web page if you want to see how much "stuff" is in the house.

Lets see your Tool Carts/Service Carts

Here's my shop cart, it started life as a Microfiche machine stand I think. The company I worked for pushed out the back door and I spotted it before it made it to the dumpster  I mounted a wall mount workmate on the side of it and I store tools kits in it's lower areas, it comes in...

    Grandfather's 100+ year old toolbox

I've really enjoyed seeing other guys vintage toolboxes. I thought I'd share mine with you. I got it after my dad passed away in 1994. It was built by his dad my grandfather. I'm really surprised that it survived all these years, for more than 35 years before I got it sat on the cement in the...

What tools are on your want or wish list?

I'm pretty well fixed for shop tools, what I would really like to have is one of the new Leatherman pocket tools with locking blades, don't know exactly which model I'd want for sure. If you guys can recommend something I'd really appreciate it. I don't have room for it, but the one BIG thing...

    Garages at Night Thread

Don, I love your garage, my mind reels at the thought of the antique radio museum I could build with that much space. A 1920s radio store in one of the little shops, a 40s/50s TV repair shop... like I said my mind REELS. :rocker:

Show Me Your Blast Cabinet Lighting

Is there any reason why you couldn't just put a small florescent in the top of the cabinet? That's what I planning to do in mine that I'm building now.
