    I built this for my SO box. I spent about $250 building it. I have more pictures somewhere. I really wanted the proper hutch, but could not afford it.

    I pulled the tape back. There is damage to the wire shielding. It's just one little spot My plan is to use a heat shrink crimp connector. It says its rated for 600v. Then put some heat shrink over it.

    It goes to the outlet above the stove. The microwave/vent is plugged into it. If I have to add a box, there is plenty of room to add one. There is not a junction box near the panel.

    There is a mark on the crank, but not one on the cam. You know you are right when the crank is lined up. There is a slot in the cam that has a hole behind it. Vw has a special pin that locks the cam. The slot at about 9:00 is the one with the hole. Here is how I do those belts. 1)line up...

    @speedy thanks for the link! It seems like a splice in the panel is ok. Do you find that inspectors freak out about it? I don't want to deal with an @ss inspector and have to fix it twice.

    That's what I figured. Luckily that wire come in at the bottom of the panel. It's also by itself. It should be an easy fix. Thanks for the help! :beer::beer:

    there is not enough wire to cut it. From what I can see there are 3 options to repair this. 1) heat shrink the wire 2) replace that section of wire by cutting and using a wire nut to connect a new section of wire. Not sure if it's ok to do that. It would be in the panel and covered so it may...

    how many tools have you warrantied?

    I have warrantied tons. I seem to go through streaks. I will go months with out breaking anything.. Then I will break like 6 things in 2 weeks. Meh, all part of the job.
