    Is this a Walker jack?

This jack is for sale, but seller doesn't know the make or model. Says it's blue and yellow so I thought it may be a Walker. Also, says it works fine. Can anyone ID it and give me an idea of value? I want it to use, not restore/collect. Thanks in advance.

    Long screwdriver set?

I'm looking for options for a long reach screwdriver set. My MIL always asks for a couple of Xmas present ideas and I thought this would be a good one. The only one I've found so far is SK: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PBBDE4/?tag=atomicindus08-20 There is a similar 4-piece set by CMan Pro but...

Long Pattern SAE Combo Wrench Set for ~$50?

Hi all, I'd like to pay about $50 all in on a decent long pattern wrench set. I've currently got 2 sets of standard CMan RPs. I'd like to migrate one to my truck and replace it with a set of significantly longer wrenches. I'm thinking about 7 wrenches from 3/8 to 3/4. Could do more or less for...

Rebuilding SO TML70A ratchet and lost the ball bearing

I found a rusty snap on 1/4" ratchet at a garage sale this weekend. I got rid of the rust and got it apart. I tried putting it back together this morning and launched the ball bearing (pawl ball) into space. Is there a good way to put these back together without losing your balls in the process?

    Question for professional welders

Hi all, My wife is considering taking welding certification course at a local technical school. She's done some torch-and-rod welding in the past (art classes) and enjoyed it. She's detail oriented, crafty and tough, so I'm sure she'd be able to handle the job. What are the work prospects are...

I need a grease gun for lubricating the front end of my truck. I'm looking at the Lincoln 1133 pistol grip manual. That one takes a 14.5 grease cartridge. Puller help...

I need to buy a tool to remove the crank pulley off my SBC 350. There's several varieties of pullers and I'm not sure which to get. The pulley is 6 3/4" diameter. I like to buy decent tools but I'm not using them professionally, so something between HF and SO would be good. Any advice? Thanks in...
