I have not managed to get anything done in the garage. I scraped together the money to buy a quart of rustoleum red primer and black paint today. We will see when I can get back to work on it. If its not raining tomorrow I need to change the oil in my vehicle tomorrow (in the...

    Triumph Spitfire on car dolly

Trailer would be ideal (trailer brakes too!), but a dolly would work. I towed my 56 from Sevierville, TN to Mountain Home, AR with my explorer on a dolly. Marked and dropped the driveshaft. No issues at all on the trip. Just do not pull in where you have to back up and your fine. I took a...

    Tool board or tool boxes?

On a side note to my above post. I love having my air tools out where I can just grab them now. Home made air tool racks.

    Tool board or tool boxes?

I agree with the others. A lot of it depends on your use. I am in the long drawn out process of remodeling my garage (no budget). Most of my tools are in tool boxes. I am completing my 500 pound steel workbench currently. Above it will be some pegboard for the most common items I will need...

    my little garden shed workshop

Great use of a small space. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get electricity out to your shed? My shed (if I ever get to build it) will be around 30' away from my house (in the back yard).

This is low (NO) budget. Epoxy primer and acrylic enamel paint would be the way to go here. Just way too expensive. :willy_nil Rattle cans are cheap (wal-mart=.99), but won't hold up very well. Its ok for tool racks and carts..but... I am thinking maybe get a quart of rustoleum primer...

Coming along.... Table top clamped on. Not nearly as thick as I wanted..but free. Straight edge sitting there. Notice the top is warped even with just skip welds? Too thin. Using heat to flatten the warped areas from welding underneath.

New Welder's First Table Build Thread

Life has been in the way and I have not been around here. How goes the table build? Any updates? I did finally manage to get going on my workbench\welding table. Build pics are in my garage thread linked in my signature. I do not have room for both of those and tool storage, so its a combo...

Thank you gentlemen. I have been up at my brother all weekend. Worn out now. We were working on a friends chevy truck. Did I mention I hate rusted suspension bolts? LOL The tool tray is awesome. Not my invention. I love it though. I brought back a small pile of 4' long 2X4s again. I didn't...
