    Triple Axle Trailer Build

Not sure if i'm understanding exactly , please bear with me and i'll try to explain what I did and you can tell me again if I did what you descibed or opposite. The plate is sitting on the top of the T, the flattest part. The reason being more surface area (~2 1/2") for the plate to sit on...

    Triple Axle Trailer Build

Your already ahead of me lol. Didn't think about adding spot lights , great idea. Yes this kit charges off the truck battery to keep it charged in the event of break away. Here's a pic. And here's my truck, I added airlift air bags to the back when I bought it.

The axles are 6,000 lb each. For cross braces I used extra frame material from the rest of the trailer which was 10" I beam . I cut the I beam in half and put the "t" top side up. I have plenty of tire to frame clearance I concerned about how much tire to fender clearance Will be under...

Thanks for the great site. In the process of building a 3 axle equipment hauling trailer. Started out as a mobile home trailer. Ive since lowered the axles 2.5", added 6 lug hubs and rebuilt the front two axle brake assemblies. Welded in side to side supports every 16" and put on 4 sheets...

    ATV Snow plow

my blade set up isn't all that heavy I mean I can move it around whens its off the quad but for some reason your blade looks awfully light. You might find you don't have enough weight to keep the blade down and end up "floating" on top of the snow. I could be wrong but ive thought about adding...

What does "GARAGE JOURNAL" mean to you?

Had my first "own" garage for a little over a year now and found this forum searching for ideas and knowledge from others who have "been there, done that" already in their own garages. Yes I am a diesel mechanic by trade, no I haven't chimed in about flat rate, to me it's a place of good guys...

Suggestions on building new heavy workbenches.

One thing i'd like to add. I see a lot of benches on here with the base support so close to the outside edge of the top plate. I would build the base at least 6" inside the top plate on all sides. The reason is for clamping your pieces. I know one member mentioned 1 1/2" -2" but if you use 3"...
