    thanks riceburner, a few people have mentioned heating the part to bring the crud to the surface, then cleaning again, Im gonna try that next time...and Ill crank the machine up a touch more, thanks for the tips

    as far as I know Nuttsgt, its still holding. I havent seen him to talk about it, just in passing at the coffee shop etc .... I use wet rags around stuff also to help pull heat out of things...

    thanks guys for the kind words, Sberry, I want to be clear to you and a few others, this was not done with TIG, this I did with a Miller spoolgun. Just want to make sure were all on the same page lol. Thanks again guys, as far as I know its still holding up

    I have racks similar to mikec and amcguy, its 1/4"x3" flat stock that is bolted to the wall, with 2"x2"x1/4" angle iron welded to it, with 2"x1/8" flat welded to the angle so stuff dont roll off. They are about 6-7' tall.....work great

    hmmm, is there any "set" approach for machine settings that you could give us as a guide, somewhere to start. Now that you mention it, i do remember getting less spatter at times, now i understand why......again, thanks for sharing your knowledge

    pigtail a 220v outlet?

    I have a separate, designated welder outlet on its own circuit. This is for a horizontal handsaw that will be in one spot 95% of the time, but if I need to cut a 20' length I can move the saw to the other area. Thanks guys

    I want to have a 220v outlet in 2 locations to use a saw in 2 spots,can I pigtail off the first outlet to a second one or do i need to run another line from the panel box? They will not both be used at the same time

    55shoebox, do you have a pic of yours and the cart? Sounds good, the plans are very well drawn out, hoping I can get to it this winter, then make some stuff for my Jeep. What size dies have you used? I would probably never use any larger than 1 3/4"

    you guys that built the got trikes bender, did you make any changes or do anything a little different? Would you change anything if doing it over? I bought the plans and hope to get to it this winter. I have all the material, just have to purchase the jack and casters and of course a die set.
