I have been tinkering with this for a little while. All made from bits and pieces in my garage.

When I started out my tool kit consisted of predominantly SAE or AF. As time went on I had to top it up with metric...:( sockets, spanners, specialty sockets & spanners :(:( So not only is there SAE/AF & Metric but also Whitworth, :shocking::shocking: why would there be a third measurement for...

A few years ago I was lucky to get on an exercise to the U.S. and my squadron stayed at NAS North Island, amazing place, so I got to check out the Midway, incredible vessel, I have never seen anything like it. Oh except the USS Missouri both incredible. Glenn

I have a Snap On that is very similar to the Lenox... could not do with out it, even if it sits in the cabinet almost forgotten. Glenn

Shopnut wins, I would much rather pick up shop stands than lift them down. The timber anti skid/scratch feet are a nice touch to boot... Glenn :)

G'day all A quick intro from me, I tinker in my garage (known as the shed down here) and have done for nearly 40 years. So when I do not feel like going to my shed I can come here to the other shed. I have turned spanners on all sorts of machinery from autos to trucks, boats, drag cars and hot...
