My Ernst racks go up to 1 1/4 and 32mm without issue. I dont think you'll have much problems with 1 1/2" as long as youve got the depth in your drawer.

Yeah its a great saw for what I have invested in it but Ive wanted something better for quite a while.

Hmm....as I expected, a new motor is over half the price of a new cheapo saw.

Thank you. I think its an 83 model, Taiwan and yes it does. The cabinet I have it mounted to tipped and the motor bounced off my shop floor. There seems to be bind causing it to rotate 30-45* but I cannot figure out where. No noticeable dents or dings in the housing.

Ive got an old Buffalo brand 4x6 metal cutting band saw and I need a replacement motor - looks just like the every other cheapo 4x6 band saw sold at HF, Jet, Grizzly, NT, etc. Any suggestions?

Dwindling down to almost nothing. Got the 1/4 Dr stuff from my local Napa and the Gearwrench stubby ratcheting from Sears. Any help on the rest would be greatly appreciated
