Hydro Smart from Menards.

I'm pretty sure the boilers are Takagi brand and Hydro smart does have all the parts for them. I did look at a Rinnai but just bought their brand. I agree we might need to upgrade or replace, but it's just a garage If I can get a generous 10 years out of the current setup I'll be happy.

More updates..... The control on the panel will be the AKL01P not the AKL01PRF. The AKL01P allows for a wired stat connection, whereas the AKL01 PRF is for wireless stats.

I asked them to double check. I agree the single zone Salus doesn't have the needed wiring options.

Hydro Smart replied back to the question... They are both the same panel and both would include the Salus control. You can wire a thermostat to that control. The image for the other panel with the taco control is wrong and hasn’t been updated.

I wonder why that's not spelled out better in the description.

Thanks for the input. They recommended the Hercules Cryo-Tek-100 in the 30-40% range. Yes, I believe both devices are just a standard 120 volt connection which I have ready.

Worded it wrong, more cost in heating equipment. The quotes have been really high from my local HVAC. All my loops are run and ready to go.

What boiler or other parts did you use? Cost in heating?

No issues with mine over minimal use.

I ended up buying the advantage a few years back and have been happy with it. I have questioned the build design with the rollers just having a weld vs some bracing. I would guess they went up a $1000 in just 3 or 4 years.

Does that slide very well? Is that 4500 lbs rated, seems like a lot of weight on 4 small stress points.

Bringing back an old thread. I have talked with EPI and also have a sample of Trusscore, very similar but I would say EPI is a better design and strong from the samples I have. Any feedback on using EPI would be great.

Thanks for the updates, Advantage looks to be only a few hundred cheaper than Bendpak right now. I'm still torn a little on which one would work better.

Any more updates on the advantage vs bendpak bridge jacks? Prices seem to be really going up on everything including these items.
