    Exhausting Moist Garage Air

That is what I was originally thinking of doing. Would be relatively inexpensive and wouldn't be a very difficult installation to install one or two of these. They have some interesting products. This item looks like it may do the trick...

    Exhausting Moist Garage Air

Thanks for your insight. I'll agree that during the winter months, there can be a small amount of condensation on the windows, but it generally stays near the edge. The windows on the garage doors never have this issue. The windows completely fogging up when I spray off/wash vehicles is the...

    Exhausting Moist Garage Air

The condensation on the windows is mainly from when I wash vehicles in the garage.

    Exhausting Moist Garage Air

I should have mentioned that. I have two ceiling fans that are generally on all winter and they actually do a very good job of drying the floor. Don't do much to help with the condensation on the windows though. Thanks for the replies so far everyone, I'll look into your ideas.

    Exhausting Moist Garage Air

I just read this thread (https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8116606) and have similar but different questions. I have a heated attached 3.5 car garage and in the winter the snow and ice obviously melts off our vehicles. I also like to wash the vehicles in the garage which on...

    Need to Fill Tool Chest!

I like your guy's logic. It'd be a totally different story if I used all these tools daily and made money with them, but I don't and I also don't have a bottomless bank account. My dad has all sorts of nice brands of tools, but he also uses them every day as a Machinist. I work on my own ****...

    Need to Fill Tool Chest!

Hammers are another thing I forgot about that I'll eventually add. What I've got now will suffice until then. Thanks for the suggestion. AND THANKS TO EVERYONE ELSE FOR THEIR SUGGESTIONS TOO!!!

    Need to Fill Tool Chest!

Well, I picked up some tools and ordered some tools. I'm sure some of you will be disappointed but that's alright. So far I got the Craftsman 311 piece set, Williams 8 piece screwdrivers, Channellock 4-piece pliers, a 10" Knipex Pliers Wrench (never tried one of these), and some Ernst wrench...

    Need to Fill Tool Chest!

Honestly I'm not too sure. Want quality, yet don't want to spend a ton. Really I'm leaning towards getting a Craftsman or Husky Mechanics set to build off of. If I need to replace (I've broken very few Craftsman tools unless I was misusing them), I'll start buying more expensive brands...

Really appreciate everyone's input! I'm already looking the brands up that you guys mentioned that I'm more unfamiliar with. Gonna be a spending spree this week!

    New From Wisconsin

The garage is for the obvious parking of our vehicles, the boat in the summer, and storing outside tools/lawn equipment. I also do some light woodworking, random repairs on stuff, maintenance on vehicles, and drinking with friends. Luckily I have a friend across town who has a car lift so that...

    New From Wisconsin

Thanks! I'm north of La Crosse. Our lot is like 1/2 wooded, 1/4 prairie grass, and 1/4 sand now lol. When we bought the lot it was mostly wooded, so I went to work with my Stihl chainsaw and cleared trees for the house to be built. The logger also took some large pines out for me. Eventually...

    Need to Fill Tool Chest!

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! I've al ways thought about garage sales/auctions, but I'm out of town all week and some weekends for work so my times to hit these are far and few between. Maybe I'll start sending my dad out for certain tools if he has time lol. Here's the chest in case...
