They look similar to a piston pin hole machining gauge for a piston on something big like a diesel truck engine...yeah that would be my guess! :)

I threw a rod threw the side of the block in a 8 horse Briggs motor on a tiller once, been probably 30 years ago. I had another crank and rod/piston set, but couldn't find a good used case for it and they wanted just about as much for a new one as I could go out and buy a whole new motor for. So...

I do have pics of it but it was before I owned a digital camera and they would need to be scanned in to post them...and I don't own a scanner! I have the same problem with pics of my own garage which a few have asked for pics of. I am looking to buy a scanner soon. It would probably be easier...

An old friend of mine has a old Standard Oil station like this one he and I rebuilt that belonged to his Grand Dad that was built back in the late 50's. His Dad inherited it in the early 80's and disassembled it and it was stored until 2002. It went together like an erector set and each piece...
