Where could I find a step by step how to on repairing something like this.

I tried to build a fire today and everytime I close the door it chokes it out. I can build a fire in any normal fireplace why is this one being a pain in my ***? Are these designed to be used with the door cracked?

Picked this up today, mostly SK, but some Mayhew, proto, nupla, channel lock and a couple others. But all except the vise grips are US made.

Same part numbers, just old vs new. One of my co-workers doesn't like the new style as much, says the old style grips better. What do you guys think? Which is better?

It's beat up a bit, but considering it's age the fact that I found it in a box full of tools I picked up for $20 that 75% contents found their way to the trash bin when I dumped it out, I think it's in pretty good shape. What do you guys think?
