I have to get a window to the glass people to replace the thermal pane. Does anybody know a good way to put wood in the opening without drilling holes in my siding or vinyl window unit?
I was at the store today and stumbled across something I have been toying with, a Bosch SP-41 driver (which has gotten some traffic on here recently).
This box was a little rough, but it was the last there and I had some extra fun money in my pocket. I get it home, no plastic wrap around...
I am on the hunt for craftsman mid depth sockets. I have found myself preferring the ones I have over deep or shallow sockets for working around the house, but don't have anywhere near a complete set. Metric and/or SAE, what do you have?
This may be posted somewhere else, but Ace has the Craftsman 5 pack of either Phillips is slotted screwdrivers on sale for $5. All of the ones at my local Ace are USA made.
I know there isn't a ton of craftsman love from many, but it is hard to scoff at that price.
I really don't need new sets of sockets, though I am tempted to buy a set just for these holders. I like the footprint of these organizers. Can anybody think of something similar that I can buy just as a holder?
I am unloading lots of my old raised panel craftsman duplicates and want to try something new.
My go to ratchets are old 4499x series craftsman. On the coarser side in the 1/2 I have a JS via Williams that is an absolute tank.
I'm debating either a new fine tooth set nicer than the...

Curious as to what opinions you folks have. If you had to have only one or the other would you prefer a set of combination or open end ignition wrenches?
I unfortunately work in a world that doesn't see tool trucks and have a project coming up that I need an E torx in the next couple days. Before I go to a big box or HF, can anyone recommend a good set of E torx that can be found via Amazon prime. American made is a plus. My quick searches...
So as I was working at the shop today I had the pleasure of using two of my favorite tools. A campagnolo chain pin tool and a wheels manufacturing bearing press. The fit and finish on these tools is impeccable, and the machining is crisp and exact. I have cheaper versions of each, and while...
After life got in the way (teething one year old in a meltdown) and I missed yet another auction for USA made raised panel craftsman combination metric wrenches ($9 before shipping) I am pretty annoyed at ebay.
Any other good online sources for reasonably priced craftsman tools? For use not...
I am looking for the part number from the set pictured below. I formerly had one similar to it, and loved the layout of the case, and the extra storage. It was what we always took with us as a family for road trips when I was a kid.
I am feeling nostalgic and would like to track another...
